Part of the mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote patriotic activities in the community.  This certainly qualifies and we want to pass it along.

"The Consulate General of France and The American Society of the French Legion of Honor have the great pleasure to invite you to the Legion of Honor ceremony recognizing World War II Veteran, Mr. Tam Cato, for his invaluable contribution to the Liberation of France."

The event will be held at the First Baptist Church, 14005 NW 146th Avenue in Alachua.  Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.

This event is open to the public and the press.
